Tunisia-Automotive industry: 50,000 new jobs to be created soon

Fifty thousand new jobs will be created in the automotive industry in the next three years to meet the needs of the Euro-Med "said, Hichem Elloumi, at a meeting held Wednesday in UTICA.

The automotive sector is generally understood in Tunisia as the industrial sector of automotive components.

This action could play a role in promoting employment and developing the automotive industry, an industrialising and performing sector that helped rank Tunisia as the first country in the automobile component.

An advantageous asset, according to Elloumi, that should be considered and preserved especially with the growing demand from foreign dealers like Peugeot and Toyota to create new sites in the Mediterranean area. Such need could generate 45,000 job positions.
