Tunisia: HP to open customer service centre in Tunisia

HP has announced that it will open a global customer help centre in Tunisia in the first half of next year, after signing an agreement with the Tunisian government on 19 June. The new facility will create around 800 jobs in the first year, providing marketing, sales support and help desk services. The building that will house the facility is under construction at the El Ghazala Technopole in Tunis. HP's general manager in Tunisia, Sami Smaoui, said that the Tunsia was chosen over several potential sites in Africa thanks to its well trained personnel, first class technology infrastructure and political stability. The company currently employs over 60 workers in the country.
